Our Coaching

We can meet monthly or more frequently, and either discuss real world problems you have encountered or explore new ways of thinking. All one-to-one coaching can be carried out either face-to-face, via Skype or phone.

Keep learning, keep growing, live happy.

I currently offer a twelve session package in which we will be able to go on a journey together; a shorter ‘crash course’ to work through specific concerns; or ad hoc sessions which are very effective as a ‘sticking plaster.’ Like most things in life the benefit comes from learning something, trying it out and readjusting your approach.

Ad hoc sessions: £100 per hour -or- £140 for a normal two hour session

Full course: £1,000

Coaching:   Lifestyle   /   Executive   /   Pilot   /   Couples Counselling

Flying Instructor

I have taught at every level in the military – university students, basic and advanced helicopters army, navy and RAF, operational conversion unit and even on operations on the front line and am now qualified to teach on Robinson 22s and 44s and fixed wing Grob 115Es.

As an ex-military flying instructor I’m a big believer in ‘student-based’ training. Quite a lot of flying instruction can be quite prescriptive – hierarchy based. That suits barely anyone. What’s important is identifying a student’s focus and helping them recognise what’s really going to make them a better pilot.

Flying is brilliant fun. And the best way to learn things is through enjoyment. I can help you find the right balance between enjoyment and professionalism.

Team Development Facilitator

My background in aviation and as an instructor has given me a huge amount of experience of how people think and act and how to get the best out of a team. I regularly facilitate human performance sessions, drawing on stories from the aviation and medical worlds that carry plenty of lessons for every day life. I have a long history in flight safety teaching people about how to get things done safely.

I am also a Myers–Briggs Facilitator. Based on the theories of Carl Jung I believe the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator is one of the best psychometric instruments. It’s not behaviour based but actually on people’s inner preferences. When team members understand themselves fully they can contribute very much more effectively to the whole team.

Key Note Speaker

If you’re looking for a speaker who is a little out of the ordinary I can draw on a very eclectic background to bring stories to life. Recent presentations have included: Half Blue, Half Green, Tripping the Light Fantastic as a Chinook Pilot, and A Life Less Stressful.
